Shipping Policy

  1. How much is my postage and where are the products located?

Special Offer 1: The shipping costs for those countries above (under $100AUD) are $11 AUD flat.

Special Offer 2: Free Postage is now offered on orders over $100 AUD to addresses in Australia, New Zealand, The United Kingdom, The United States and Canada. 

All the rest of the countries: $40 AUD flat.

Patchwork Ninja uses flat rate shipping based on your shipping address. Products are shipped from our office in Queensland if you are ordering from Australia and New Zealand. 

 

If you are in Canada, the USA, the United Kingdom, Spain, Netherland or Italy some of your products will be shipped directly from Japan. For international orders outside of these countries, please contact us at info@patchworkninja.com.au BEFORE placing your order for a quote on your shipping cost.

The shipping costs for the rest of the country: $20AUD

Patchwork Ninja cannot guarantee or be held responsible for products lost or damaged in transit due to the performance of our carriers or events beyond our control. 

2. Processing Time

Your order will be processed within 1- 3 business days of being placed. Should there be an unexpected hold up which will delay your package leaving our office, we will notify you immediately. We ship Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays. You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order ships which can take up to 48 hours to update. If you do not see your shipping confirmation email in your inbox after 1 business day, please double check your junk/spam or promotions folder. 

Please Note: We cannot be held accountable for any delays caused by the carrier. 

Inaccurate, unverified or incomplete address details will delay the processing of your order by an additional 1-2 business days. Please thoroughly review your address and contact details, especially your contact email, prior to checkout.

3. Tax Duties

International customers (outside of Australia, New Zealand and Japan) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs authority deems appropriate. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and are not collected by Patchwork Ninja, and thus cannot be refunded. 

We ship international packages DDU (duties and taxes unpaid) from our warehouse in Kumamoto Japan, meaning that these fees are not included in the price of the goods you purchase from our website. All applicable fees must be paid by the recipient in order to receive the parcel.

As we are unable to advise the amount of what these fees might be, we recommend to contact your country's customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on importing sewing accessories and craft supplies from Japan.

 I placed two separate orders over a short period. Can you combine postage?

 Please email us info@patchworkninja.com.au and we will see if we can accommodate your request. We are happy to do so if we haven’t dispatched your initial order. The excess postage will be refunded through your original payment method.

 

I haven’t received my order yet. What do I do?

 Please check all the information that you entered before checking out is correct to prevent your package from going missing. Your tracking number will most likely tell you where your order is. For deliveries within Australia and New Zealand, please allow 7-10 business days. If you are outside Australia or New Zealand, please allow 10-15 business days for delivery. Unfortunately, we are not always able to track the parcel once the order enters your country. Please contact us and we will assist you to track your parcel. After investigations, if the order is deemed to have gone missing or damaged through a fault at our end, we will immediately issue a refund OR send a replacement.
